RSR’s annual two-day Drivers’ Education event was a smashing success. As usual Christian Maloof organized and supervised two days of driving fun and first class instruction. While the weather forcast did not look promising for the weekend, a little Saturday morning drizzle did little to dampen enthusiasm and Saturday afternoon and Sunday were perfect driving days.
Special thanks go out to: Tom Bloom for the great event T-shirts, Tim Pott of Rennstatt for donating bottles of drinking water and providing tech inspections as well as other mechanical assistance to ailing cars, V&W Motors for providing Ice Tea and Tom Krueger for delivering it cold, James Lange for providing libations at the Saturday night dinner, Phil Mather and Rick Mammel for help with tech inspections, Lorraine Faust for helping with registration and serving as track marshall on Saturday, Lynda Mammel for help with registration, and to Mike McNalley for helping with tech inspections and for serving as track marshall on Sunday.
Last of all, thanks to all of you who made our DE a fast, fun, and friendly event!
