Weekend Away: Rally Sport Region Members enjoy DEs at MidOhio and Grattan (2008)

The Weekend of October 4-5 was a busy one for RSP members.

Track lovers headed to Ohio for a weekend at Mid-Ohio, where the serious go to run with the VERY SERIOUS. Seven Rally Sport members made the trek to Lexington, Ohio and the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. We joined more than 100 students and 50 instructors-- that's right more than 150 other drivers! The event, sponsored by the Northern Ohio Region PCA, was well organized, the weather great, and the setting spectacular.

And on the other side of town, a few more RSP members and their cars met up along I-96 for the caravan to Grattan. The DE, organized by the Great Lakes Lotus Club, was enjoyable as always. Attendees enjoyed plenty of run time, beautiful cars and, best of all, great company! The weather was lovely there too, as was the company.

Check out the photos below!

More trailers than a large U-Haul lot -- a lot of serious equipment.
Sunrise on Saturday: Valerie and Jennifer's Caymans and Mike's Carrera got a little frosty.
