Tech Talk season is upon us! November 8th will be our first talks of the season where we will have a 944 2.5l engine on a stand and one completely taken apart on the table to talk about why it failed and how we are going to build it to the rules under SPEC 944 racing for NASA. I will then send the block, crank, and head to the machine shop and when I get them back we will build it so that talk date is TBD. We will also have our race car on the hoist to look at and talk about the suspension and wear on the car from everything this year. We competed in our first endurance race on October 3rd with NASA. Some of you have been to the HPDE's where we have been working out the bugs in the race car and we are very happy to report that it made it all 7 hours and 184 laps to take 3rd place!
The remaining tech talk topics will be chosen by popular choice so let me know in person or email me what you want to talk about. service@stadiumautoservice
This year we will give out one raffle ticket to each person that attends each tech talk. Names will be taken off of the waiver roster so make sure you sign it! If you come to all the talks you will have four chances at one of three spots for the track inspection talk in April where we will hoist your car, perform the brake flush (with your brake fluid) and track inspection at no cost. We always include a free track inspection with any paid service so this would be a no labor cost brake flush/inspection.
As always we will have coffee, bagels, and donuts. No need to RSVP, just show up and enjoy!
