PCA-Rally Sport Region’s HPDE @ Grattan Event Friday – Sunday, June 7-9th at Grattan Raceway, northeast of Grand Rapids, MI. You will be driving your favorite Porsche/other track toy on your way to Grattan!! Early Bird prices end May 25th. Space is limited; run groups and classes will be capped. Breaking News: You, our loyal Rally Sport members, are getting this notice 2-3 days earlier than the MSR & general public so please ACT NOW!!!! Grattan is a challenging 2-mile, 13 turn road course with elevation changes. Many of us think it is the best road course in the upper Midwest. MSF Level 2 training along with PCA National training will be available on Friday along with skill honing for APPROVED advanced students & instructors. Rally Sport Region Porsche Club of America is honored to have Ross Bentley, one of the most recognized Pro Driving Coaches in the world. Ross is a former IndyCar driver and a very successful endurance racer. You may know him as the author of the Speed Secrets series of books, or perhaps you have heard him online in one of several driver and race show podcasts. Perhaps you have read one of his contributions as a writer for Road & Track. Now you can take advantage of this rare opportunity to meet and learn from one of the all-time best this June 7-9 at Grattan Raceway. Ross will join us on Friday to assist in MSF training – both on-track and classrooms, multiple “workshops” on Saturday, a 90-minute Open discussion on Sunday over coffee and he will be available for questions throughout the weekend along with our driver par excellence & CDI (Chief Driving Instructor) Christian Maloof!!
Saturday & Sunday are a traditional HPDE/driving school with instructors and classrooms. Camping is available as are garages — details in the MSR registration docket. We've reserved a block of hotel rooms in nearby Greenville at the AmericInn (BLOCK CLOSES THURSDAY MAY 25th). There will be a full hog roast Saturday evening (under the circus tent) shortly after the last checker flag plus a raffle drawing following dinner. Most prizes are worth $250-500.
