Rally Sport Region Adopt A Road Clean Up
This our club’s opportunity to give back and beautify one of our favorite driving roads, Hankerd Rd between N Territorial Rd and Glen Brook Rd. Dennis Huibregtse (dennisa2@icloud.com) worked with the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) and was able to secure a permanent sign featuring the Rally Sport Region PCA in lieu of our club keeping the road clean 3 times a year.
We will meet on April 27 & 28, 2024; July 20 & 21, 2024; and September 28 & 29, 2024 with an organized team of people to pick up trash and give-back to the community.
o Minimum participant age is 12 years; adult supervision required for under-18s (1 adult to every 3 under-18s.
After the 2024 clean ups are completed, WCRC will schedule its sign shop to install Rally Sport’s adopt-a-road sponsorship signs on Hankerd Road
Initial adoption period is two seasons: 2024-2025
