Ann Arbor Cars and Coffee cancelled but superseded by RSR Coffee, Drive, and Soaring

Ann Arbor Cars & Coffee is cancelled this weekend due to the City of Ann Arbor mandate on gatherings of 100 people or more.   In lieu of this news, we’re planning an alternative Porsche RSR region Cars and Coffee with a short drive afterwards and gliders.   

• We’ll meet in Chelsea @ ZouZou’s Cafe which is located in downtown Chelsea (101 N. Main Street).  There generally is lots of street parking available and great coffee at the cafe.   
• Afterwards there will be a drive and we’ll end up at Sandhill Soaring Club to socialize and there will be glider rides available.   

For gatherings we’ll ask everyone to practice pandemic safety measures (masks and socially distanced).  

Saturday September 19th (this Saturday)

Activity #1)  Coffee @ ZouZou’s in Chelsea

• 8:00 am meet @ ZouZous in downtown Chelsea for coffee

Activity #2)  Drive after coffee

• Depart 9:15 – 9:30 for drive to Sandhill Soaring Club in Gregory, MI
• Two forms need to be signed and printed ahead of the gathering.  Forms must be printed in color to preserve the red text.
  • All members must sign the Covid Waiver form in the link below (one form per person – bring to event)
  • Communicable Disease Spectator and Participant Release Waiver
  • Members who are going on the drive will need to sign the PCA waiver in the link below (more than one person can sign one form – bring to event) 
  • Sept 19th Drive Insurance Waiver

  • Drive is roughly 32 miles and should take about 45+ minutes

Activity #3)  Glider Rides @ Sandhill Soaring Club  

• We should arrive at roughly 10am and we have the option of socializing or for those interested, Dave Finch has offered to help with discounted glider rides
• Dave will need a headcount if your interested so he can accommodate times – Dave Finch dfinch@raetech.com    
• We’ll confirm later this week
