The Rally Sport Region (RSP) chapter of the Porsche Club of America is known as the "fast, fun, friendly" region. RSP covers southeastern Michigan, around the Detroit - Ann Arbor area; however, we have members from various parts of the U.S. and even Europe.

Visitors are always welcome! Rally Sport Region welcomes non-members to all Driver’s Education and social events (check out links). Come out and enjoy beautiful cars, delicious food and good company!

How do I join?

  1. To join our club, you must first join Porsche Club of America (PCA). You may download the form here. Cost is U.S. $42 per year. Download and complete your application listing “Rally Sport” as the region within PCA you would like to join.
  2. Send your application and check for $42 to Membership Chairperson Glenn Trap. Glenn will register you with PCA; the entire process takes between 2-3 weeks.

Please note: you will need a Porsche VIN number to join PCA. We didn’t come up with that rule…they did. For questions on this matter, Membership Chairperson Glenn Trap would be glad to help you.

Membership entitles you to a discounted rate for DE events, a subscription of the PCA magazine, Panorama and the RSP Newsletter, The Bahn Stormer. You also get a fancy magnetic name tag and too many benefits to name here!

FAQ – Answers to two popular RSP Questions

Can I be a member of two PCA regions at once?
Well... maybe. One of our members was in both Rally Sport and Central New York regions at one time. He said that he just paid the membership dues twice, once for each region. I've asked the central PCA (Porsche Club of America) office, and I've gotten a "yes" and a "no" from them. I think you can if you pay twice.

I heard that the Porsche club was full of snobby people. Is that true?
Who told you that? They probably meant "sloppy" instead of snobby, due to the large quantities of Good Food at our events. We didn't earn the nickname "The Fast, Fun and Friendly Region" for nothing! Come join us and we'll prove the snobby myth wrong. And uhh... bring Food.
